Luggage Policy

To ensure comfort and space for all travelers, each guest is limited to one (1) large suitcase and one (1) carry-on. Extra luggage cannot be accommodated during group transport and must be stored at the hotel at the traveler’s discretion.

Eligibility

Soulful Escapes experiences are intentionally curated for women ages 40 and older, centering themes of rest, renewal, and soulful reconnection. However, women age 21 and above are welcome to register and participate. By enrolling, you confirm that you are at least 21 years of age on the date of trip departure.

A' Lur-En Mystique® Travel Terms & Conditions Thank You for Choosing Soulful Escapes, an Affinity Group of A' Lur-En Mystique® We appreciate your interest in traveling with Soulful Escapes, a curated travel experience powered by A' Lur-En Mystique®. The following policies are designed to ensure a smooth, safe, and respectful experience for all travelers. Contact Information Email: info@soulful-escapes.com Terms & Conditions Agreement This document, hereafter referred to as the “Agreement” (which incorporates any terms and/or provisions stated on individual trip sign-up pages), is between A' Lur-En Mystique or Soulful Escapes by A' Lur-En Mystique, hereafter referred to as A' Lur-En Mystique LLC, and the named participant in the Agreement, hereafter referred to as the “Traveler.” By booking or participating in a trip and any related products or services (a “Tour”) with A' Lur-En Mystique LLC, a North Carolina-based company (the “Tour Operator”), you (“the Traveler”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions: Legal Provisions This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, with Rowan County as the venue for any legal matters. 1. If A' Lur-En Mystique LLC prevails in any legal dispute, it is entitled to recover attorney’s fees. 2. The parties agree to attempt resolution of any disputes through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Rowan County, North Carolina. 3. This Agreement constitutes the entire contract between the parties and supersedes all prior communications, oral or written. Limitation of Rights Signature of this Agreement shall not constitute the creation, conveyance, transference, or grant of any rights, authority, ownership, or license from A' Lur-En Mystique LLC to the Traveler. Assumption of Risk & Waiver of Liability Participation in international travel involves inherent risks. By joining a Soulful Escapes experience, you accept these risks, including potential injury, illness, or loss. 1. Traveler agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless A' Lur-En Mystique LLC, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, vendors, guides, and affiliates from all claims arising from participation. 2. The total liability of A' Lur-En Mystique LLC shall not exceed the amount paid by the Traveler for the specific trip in question. Covenant Not to Sue The Traveler agrees not to pursue legal action against A' Lur-En Mystique LLC unless willful misconduct or gross negligence is proven. Travel Insurance 1. Travel insurance is required for all travelers. 2. Your policy must include trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and evacuation coverage. 3. Proof of insurance must be submitted no later than 30 days prior to trip departure. 4. Travelers who do not provide proof of insurance will not be permitted to join the trip and will forfeit all payments made. Traveler Eligibility 1. A' Lur-En Mystique journeys are curated with women 40+ in mind—those seeking rejuvenation, cultural connection, and growth. 2. Women aged 21 and older are welcome to join if the journey aligns with their intentions. 3. Men are welcome when accompanying a spouse or significant other who is a registered participant. Physical Activity & Mobility Requirements 1. All travelers must be able to walk unassisted. 2. Climb stairs 3. Get on and off transportation 4. Handle their own luggage 5. We do not provide individual mobility assistance. 6. If support is needed, travelers must bring a qualified companion. 7. No refunds are provided for opting out of activities due to mobility limitations. Room Sharing & Accommodations 1. A' Lur-En Mystique does not assign roommates. 2. Travelers seeking a shared room must arrange their own roommate. 3. All accommodations are non-smoking and typically offer two beds. 4. Room selection (single or double) must be finalized at registration and cannot be changed after final payment. 5. Travelers without a roommate will be placed in single occupancy and charged the applicable rate. Pre-Departure Travel Requirements Travelers are responsible for ensuring they meet all country-specific entry requirements. A' Lur-En Mystique will provide updated entry guidance no more than 6 weeks prior to departure. The Traveler is responsible for: 1. Valid passport (minimum 6 months beyond return date) 2. Required visas 3. Vaccinations 4. Any other necessary documentation No refunds or credits will be issued to travelers who fail to meet these requirements. Traveler Information & Documentation 1. A valid passport copy and full travel details must be submitted by the final payment date. 2. It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure all documents are valid and up to date. International Travel Guidelines 1. Traveler agrees to abide by all domestic and international laws while abroad. 2. A' Lur-En Mystique is not liable for any legal issues, detainment, or penalties incurred by the traveler during the trip. Trip Policies & Expectations 1. Trips will proceed as planned unless otherwise notified by A' Lur-En Mystique. 2. Travelers who choose not to attend for personal reasons will not receive refunds or transfers. 3. If trip changes occur due to external events (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics), A' Lur-En Mystique is not responsible for compensation. Traveler’s Personal Expenses Unless explicitly included in the itinerary, the following are not covered: 1. Airfare 2. Travel insurance 3. Passport or visa fees 4. Vaccinations 5. Optional tours or excursions 6. Personal purchases, meals outside of the itinerary, and other incidentals Arrival, Transfers & Delays Travelers must arrive on time for all scheduled group activities and departures. 1. In the event there are changes to your flight schedule, notify us immediately. 2. If you arrive after the group date, you are responsible for arranging your own airport transfer. 3. Missed transfers due to late arrival are not reimbursed. Itinerary Changes & Force Majeure A' Lur-En Mystique reserves the right to modify the itinerary as needed. No refunds or compensation will be given for changes or cancellations due to factors outside our control, including but not limited to: 1. Weather disruptions 2. Airline delays 3. Illness outbreaks 4. Political unrest 5. Labor strikes 6. Acts of God Travel Conduct & Compliance A' Lur-En Mystique reserves the right to remove any traveler who: 1. Disrupts the group experience 2. Poses a safety threat 3. Violates local laws or company rules 4. Engages in discriminatory, aggressive, or harassing behavior toward staff, fellow travelers, or community partners. No refunds will be issued for removal or early departure. Use of Third-Party Operators Some travel segments may be facilitated by independent third-party vendors. 1. A' Lur-En Mystique is not responsible for their services or conduct. 2. While we work only with trusted partners, we do not guarantee specific outcomes or experiences. Media Release Traveler grants permission to A' Lur-En Mystique to use photos, videos, or social media content from the trip for marketing and promotional purposes. No compensation will be provided. Data Security 1. We protect your personal information using industry-standard measures. 2. However, no digital system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute data security. Payment Policy 1. Payments are due by the 15th of each month. 2. Payments must be received by 11:59 PM EST on the 17th to avoid penalty. 3. Payments are not auto-drafted. Travelers must submit payments manually each month. 4. If you do not receive your invoice by the 8th, email Soulful Escapes powered by A'Lur-En Mystique, LLC immediately. Missed Payment Policy: Trips will be automatically canceled after one missed payment. No refunds, credits, or transfers of deposits or previous payments will be issued. Payments and deposits cannot be applied to future trips. Refund Guidelines 1. Trips are non-refundable unless canceled by A' Lur-En Mystique. 2. Refunds are only issued under exceptional circumstances, at the company's sole discretion. 3. If a refund is granted as an exception, the amount refunded will be reduced by any processing or administrative fees. 4. If a refund cannot be issued, a trip credit valid for 365 days from the original trip end date may be provided in accordance with the cancellation policy. 5. Trip credits are non-transferable and may only be used by the original Traveler. 6. Trip credits must be applied to a trip departing within 364 days of the original trip’s end date. Binding Agreement This Agreement is legally binding as of the signed date (electronically or physically) and remains in effect for all current and future travel with A' Lur-En Mystique or Soulful Escapes by A' Lur-En Mystique. Soulful Escapes by A'Lur-En Mystique® Customer Travel Policies These policies outline the key expectations, deadlines, and responsibilities required of travelers participating in a curated group travel experience hosted by Soulful Escapes, an affinity group of A' Lur-En Mystique®. 1. Voluntary Participation By booking, Travelers acknowledge they are voluntarily participating with full understanding of all terms, including cancellation, risk, and documentation responsibilities. 2. Assumption of Risk Travelers understand that participation involves risk, including but not limited to illness, injury, and lack of accessible medical care. Participation is voluntary and at the Traveler’s own risk. 3. Customer Deadlines International Flight Information Travelers must submit international flight details no later than six (6) weeks prior to trip departure. Soulful Escapes will notify travelers via email when it is time to submit their flight details. Failure to meet this deadline will result in automatic cancellation of the trip. Canceled trips will not be reinstated, and no refunds, credits, or transfers will be issued. Travel Insurance Travel insurance is required. Minimum coverage of $100,000 USD is required and must include both medical and evacuation coverage. Proof of insurance must be submitted at least six (6) weeks before the trip departure date. Domestic trips only require proof of medical insurance. Failure to submit required documentation by the deadline will result in trip cancellation without refund, credit, or transfer. Visa Requirements If a visa is required for your destination, it is the Traveler’s responsibility to obtain and provide proof of a valid visa. If airport transfers are included in your package, visa proof must be submitted at least three (3) days before trip departure to retain your transfer. No refunds or credits will be issued for failure to obtain or provide a visa. Passport Information If an inter-country flight, train, or cruise is included, passport details are due three (3) months before departure. The Company will use the most recent passport details submitted to book services. Travelers are responsible for any change fees due to incorrect, expired, or late passport information. Those who fail to submit valid information must arrange their own transfers at their own cost. 4. Passport Validity Travelers are responsible for ensuring their passport has the required blank pages and validity as outlined by the destination country. Failure to comply may result in denied entry with no refund or trip credit. 5. Domestic Flights & Passport Validity If a domestic flight is included, wait for flight details before booking your international ticket. Domestic airfare includes seat only—no baggage, meals, or seat selection is included. Passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the return date. Invalid or expired documents may result in cancellation without refund. 6. Airport Transfers If included, transfers are offered on the trip start date (5 AM–11 PM) and trip end date (until hotel check-out). Delays beyond one hour may void your transfer; in that case, you must arrange your own. If a visa is not secured in advance (when required), airport transfers will not be provided. 7. Meals Meals included in your itinerary are set menus or buffets with one water. Special dietary needs will be requested, but not guaranteed. Travelers who miss scheduled meals will not be refunded or reimbursed. 8. Roommates & Accommodations Soulful Escapes does not assign roommates. If you do not have a roommate, you must select single occupancy at registration. Room changes or upgrades are not guaranteed. Room type (single/double) must be selected during registration and cannot be changed later. Room assignments and preferences will be communicated prior to the trip. Requests made outside of the assignment process will not be honored. 9. Itinerary & Accommodations Initial itineraries are subject to change based on availability, weather, and cultural events. Final itineraries will be provided 4 weeks before trip departure. Substitutions of hotels and activities may occur; no refunds will be given. Hotel check-in is typically after 3 PM; check-out is by noon. 10. Customer-Initiated Cancellations If a Traveler cancels their trip for any reason—including illness, job conflicts, failure to meet entry requirements, or personal circumstances—no refunds, transfers, or credits will be issued, except as outlined in the Deposit Refund Policy and Cancellation Schedule. Payments and deposits cannot be transferred to another trip or participant. Deposit Refund Policy Travelers who cancel within 72 hours of paying their deposit are eligible for a full refund. After 72 hours, the deposit is non-refundable. Requests must be emailed to info@soulful-escapes.com. Cancellation Schedule If you cancel 241 or more days before the trip start date, you will receive a credit for 100% of all payments made. If you cancel between 211 and 240 days before departure, you will receive a 75% credit, and a 25% cancellation fee will be applied. If you cancel between 181 and 210 days before the trip, 50% of your total payments will be credited, and the remaining 50% will be retained as a cancellation fee. If your cancellation occurs between 151 and 180 days before departure, you will receive 25% credit, and a 75% cancellation fee will apply.No refund or credit will be issued for cancellations made 150 days or fewer before the trip start date. 11. Company-Initiated Cancellations Trips will be canceled for the following reasons: Failure to submit required documentation (passport, insurance, visa, flight info) Missed monthly payment Once canceled, trips will not be reinstated. No credits, refunds, or transfers will be issued. Payments cannot be applied to future travel. Soulful Escapes reserves the right to cancel any trip at its discretion due to: Global pandemics Natural disasters Political unrest Acts of war or terrorism Trip conflicts or logistical issues In such cases, a trip credit valid for 365 days from the original trip end date may be issued. 12. Trip Credit Terms & Usage Trip credits are issued only when the company cancels a trip. Credits are valid for 365 days from the trip’s original end date and must be used toward a trip with a value of at least 75% of the canceled trip. Credits are non-transferable and may not be extended. Travelers must book a new trip by submitting a deposit. Once applied, monthly payments will be recalculated accordingly. Only one transfer is allowed; no additional changes will be permitted. Unused credits within the 365-day window will be forfeited. 13. Force Majeure & Global Events Policy Trips may be affected by force majeure events, including but not limited to: Acts of God Government actions Illness outbreaks Natural disasters Civil unrest Soulful Escapes will attempt to reschedule affected activities but makes no guarantees. If a trip is canceled due to a global event, only trip credits will be issued—no refunds. Travelers are encouraged to purchase "cancel for any reason" insurance. All costs related to quarantines, flight changes, or delays are the responsibility of the traveler. 14. Liability Waivers High-risk activities require a signed waiver, due 2 days before trip departure. Failure to sign the waiver by the deadline will result in removal from the activity without refund. 15. Binding Arbitration Any disputes will be settled by binding arbitration under North Carolina law in Rowan County, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). 16. Use of Website Use of www.soulful-escapes.com and any related sites constitutes agreement to the terms and policies outlined herein. The Company is not responsible for errors or external links. Acceptance of Terms By submitting your trip registration, you agree to the terms outlined in this Customer Travel Policy.

​All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to info@soulful-escapes.com. Refunds and credits are determined based on the number of days before the scheduled trip start date (as listed on your registration form), not the payment date.​​

Travelers who cancel within 72 hours of paying their deposit are eligible for a full refund. After 72 hours, the deposit is non-refundable. Requests must be emailed to info@soulful-escapes.com.

Cancellation Schedule

  • Cancel 241 or more days before the trip start date, you will receive a credit for 100% of all payments made, less processing fees.

  • Cancel 211-240 days before departure, a 25% cancellation fee will be assessed, and a 75% credit will be applied. 

  • Cancel 181- 210 days before the trip, and a 50% cancellation fee will be assessed, and a 50% credit will be applied.

  • Cancel 151-180 days before departure, and a 75%  fee will be assessed, and a 25% credit will be applied.

  • No refund or credit will be issued for cancellations made 150 days or fewer before the trip start date.
